Eric Rubinoff- Eric Rubinoff - has over 30 years experience in the industry selling, marketing, designing, architecting and implementing mission critical solutions in the areas of Decision Support, Data Warehousing, Mobile Computing, System Integration and the use of Internet technologies and has been recognized for superior contributions as a Corporate Evangelist, in Product Design and Development, Project Management, Consulting, Marketing and Sales. His experience spans multiple industry verticals. Proficient in dozens of key technologies used in architecting business software and system integration solutions, he brings both a strategic and tactical view of the role technology plays in organizations, the issues involved and the benefits an organization can expect to gain from its use. His passion for staying "leading edge" in technology enables him to provide a unique insight to clients. As an early Internet professional with Netscape Corporation, his goal was always to make the web a place for learning, sharing ideas and exposing the masses to the richness the Internet has to offer as an information media and enhancement to business operation. As the Global Technical Alliance Manager with iPlanet e-commerce solutions he managed a team of senior SEs and provided worldwide marketing, sales and technical support for Global Systems Integrators and Channel partners and was instrumental in global channel development. Since joining iWay, Eric has most recently been Chief Technologist responsible for evangelizing iWay on a worldwide basis, coordinating world-wide training and producing deliverables that aid the field and partner community in selling iWay products and services.
As Technical Director for North America Sales, Eric helped drive the sale of iWay/IBI solutions. Efforts encompassed the definition, development, and delivery of business solutions based on iWay Software/Information Builders' integration products. Additionally provide credibility for iWay’s ability to architect and deliver compelling product offerings and business solutions by teaming with product management, marketing, training and sales staff, participating in account strategy planning, client meetings, and opportunity evaluation.
As the Technical Alliance Manager/Principal Consultant with iPlanet e-commerce solutions he managed a team of senior SEs and provided worldwide marketing, sales and technical support for Global Systems Integrators and Channel partners and was instrumental in global channel development.
As the Senior Regional Solution Architect/Manager he was instrumental in finding, qualifying and recruiting Solution Architects throughout the company. Built the Central US Region SA team. Managed Regional Solution Architects and acted as key liason for all branch SAs. Consistently called on to deliver training to SAs and new hires on SA methodologies and best practices.
With Netscape Communications Inc. as a Senior Systems Engineer Eric provided marketing/sales support for Channel partners, provided key feedback to Product Management and acted as liaison and product specialist for their reseller community.
In addition he was an individual contributor and Professional Services Engagement Manager for Sybase in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In previous roles he provided system design and consulting for Decision Support System products, defined and executed product enhancements, delivered credible supervision, leadership, mentoring and instruction to technical personnel assigned to the account teams and created a global technical support team for Uninet, Inc…..the company now known as Sprint.
In the area of databases he has experience in needs analysis/assessment, design, installation and implementation of relational database management systems and large scale integration with Office Automation, Image Processing/Records Management and Data Processing systems. Eric has extensive experience working in the areas of system integration architecture design and implementation, networking and communications.
His hardware skills cover a variety of technologies including in depth familiarization/skill with PCs, workstations, servers, communication processors and LAN Products (i.e. bridges/routers, gateways, modems, servers, etc.).
